Additional Fragrance Oil and Update Addendum

Want to add an additional fragrance oil to your existing Revega CPSR?

Simply select the number of additional fragrances you would like to add or update, then provide your original order number, CPSR reference number and fragrance choice(s) using the fields below.

Important

This addendum can only be used where a Revega CPSR already exists. It is intended for customers who:

• Need to add additional fragrances after their CPSR has been issued.

• Need to update a fragrance due to a reformulation or supplier document change.

• Have used all available fragrance options already listed on their CPSR.

Please do not purchase this addendum unless one of the above situations applies.

Compatibility

This addendum allows:

• Fragrance Oils to be added to an existing Fragrance Oil CPSR.

• Essential Oils to be added to an existing Essential Oil CPSR.

• Fragrance Oils or Essential Oils to be added to certain Custom CPSRs, depending on how the original assessment was written. If you have a Custom CPSR, please contact us before purchasing.

This addendum does not allow:

• Fragrance Oils to be added to an Essential Oil CPSR.

• Essential Oils to be added to a Fragrance Oil CPSR.

• Fragrances to be added to Soak CPSRs.

Turnaround Time

We aim to complete fragrance addendums within 24–48 working hours (excluding weekends), however please allow up to 1 week during busy periods.

Please Note

We can only add fragrances to existing Revega CPSRs. Assessments purchased from other providers cannot be modified or updated by us.

Please note: Fragrance addendums are intended as an occasional update service rather than a frequent amendment process.

While we are happy to add additional fragrances to your existing CPSR, repeatedly updating the same assessment over short periods can create an unnecessarily complex document history and may appear disorganised during a compliance inspection or audit.

For this reason, we recommend planning your fragrance additions in advance and submitting them together wherever possible. 

Submitting multiple fragrances in a single request is not only more cost-effective, but also helps maintain a clear, well-managed compliance record.

Want to add an additional Ingredient to your existing CPSR?

No problem.  

Fill out your Responsible Person details, CPSR Reference number and Ingredient choice. You must also send stability data from testing the ingredient in the product.

This is for ONE added ingredient only added as a variant on your existing CPSR.

We aim to return your completed CPSR update within 24/48 hours (weekends excluded), but please allow 1 week.

Note: We can only add to an existing Revega assessment.  CPSRs purchased elsewhere cannot be modified or added to.

You may be required to supply stability data for your addition prior to the updated report being issued.

An ingredient being a single ingredient or diluted extract or active, not a cosmetic base. 
To add on a base such as melt and pour soap or similar you will need a separate CPSR for that product and the ‘sell together’ addendum. 

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO WATER BASED PRODUCTS - this is because new challenge testing would be required.  If you have this done and can send us the report then we can add the ingredient.

This CPSR - Cosmetic Product Safety Report is for Bath Bombs. This formulation gives a solid foundation for a good Bath Bomb that can be customised by mixing and matching the variant options.  Choose your oil or butter, powder binder/feel enhancers, your essential oils and colours to make various bath bombs in various shapes, scents and colours.

To make the Bath Bombs you will be using the following ingredients 

Bicarbonate of Soda, SLSa, Powder/binder of choice (including Kaolin, Cornstarch, Cream of Tartar etc), Citric Acid, Polysorbate 80, Oil or butter of choice (including mango butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, apricot kernal oil, almond oil etc), Essential oil of choice or a blend of them, colours of choice.

Optional Additions Included: We want you to have the most creativity possible with this flexible CPSR and that's why it also includes decoration options (such as dried  botanicals, bio glitter and also cocoa butter drizzle) and non-cosmetic items to hide within your bath bombs (such as toys, jewellery, crystals and paper items) to give your customers that extra surprise.

How it works

Flexible CPSRs provide a frame formulation.  This involves set percentages and some set ingredients to provide the stability and base of the formulation.  The flexibility comes from being able to swap some ingredients for other similar ingredients within certain parameters.  These will allow you to change the performance, texture, scent and colour of the product without compromising it's quality, stability and safety.

Essential Oils - This CPSR allows you to use 1.5% Essential oil/s. This assessment includes a choice of 50 essential oils including Vanilla Extract for optional added sweetness.  You may use them individually or as a blend within the given usage limits. Meaning you have unlimited scent options!

Revega CPSRs are flexible with ingredients, so for this assessment you can purchase all ingredients from any reputable supplier including essential oils, but you must do your allergen calculations based on the IFRA and Allergen sheets from the supplier you purchase from.

Our CPSRs are valid in the UK and EU.

What you will receive:

• Formula and method document with frame formulation and variant tables with max usage rates. You must follow this guide for your CPSR to be valid.
• Your customised CPSR in your responsible person name with a full list of essential oils and their max usage rates.  Allergen calculations must be done by you based on the blends you create.
• If you choose the CPSR + Full Compliance Package option you will need to send us your product information at a later date so that we can complete this work.  You will then receive a completed PIF, label information sheet (to copy and paste into your design) and we'll do your SCPN UK Portal entries (including allergen calculations after you provide us your essential oil blend information) if you would like us to.  This option saves money opposed to purchasing the CPSR and compliance package separately. - Please note compliance is a one time service for up to the number of fragrances you have chosen - eg: If you pick 5 fragrances we will do admin for 5 products.

This CPSR - Cosmetic Product Safety Report is for an anhydrous Body Butter. 

A thick luxurious feeling body butter that stays reasonably soft if made as per original recipe (given in PDF instructions), with optional additions including:

• Hyaluronic acid pearls (an anhydrous version of hyaluronic acid).
• Bisabolol
• Coenzyme Q 10 Plus E
• Remodelling Intense
• Algae Extract
  
• Cetearyl Alcohol
• Cetyl Alcohol
• Various Clays and Powders
• and allowing for your own full customisation of oils, butter, essential oils and colour.

Being anhydrous there will be a level of greasiness, but we can counter it slightly with the powder options and by choosing an ester within the oils.  This is a truly beautiful body butter that allows for so much customisation you can truly create a unique product.

The Optional Additions variant table will include information on their functions so that you can create a formula that performs as you wish, however please remember that claims require proof, so if you want to claim that your product does any of the things the function suggests, you will need official claims testing.

This CPSR requires a basic understanding of formulating in %.

What You Need to Provide

To create your CLP label, we will require the following information via email after purchase:

• Product type

• Your Responsible person company or full name, address and telephone number.
  
  

• Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for all hazardous ingredients

• Certificate of Analysis (CoA)

• IFRA Certificate

• Allergen Declaration

• Full formulation (if your product contains a mixture of ingredients)

• Percentage (%) of fragrance or mixture used in the finished product

Please ensure all documentation is current and supplied before placing your order, as incomplete or incorrect information may delay processing.

What You Will Receive

You will receive a digital CLP label file containing the information required under the UK CLP Regulation, based on the documentation supplied.

The finished file is provided electronically and is ready for you to print using your preferred label size and printing method.

Important Information

• This service covers one product only.

• Any changes to the formulation or fragrance after the label has been created will require a new CLP label.

• The accuracy of the finished label depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information supplied by the customer.

• This service does not include printing, product testing, Safety Data Sheet creation or regulatory consultancy.

How long will it take?

We aim to return your completed custom CLP within 1-2 Weeks (weekends excluded) though we are usually much faster, depending on current workload. We will keep you updated throughout the process.

It will be delivered in PDF format to the email you ordered with.

This CPSR - Cosmetic Product Safety Report is for cold process soap.

Cold process soap involves working with Lye which is highly caustic.  It is therefore advised that this CPSR is used by those with some formulation experience.

This is a luxurious and high performing cold process soap. 

• It has a 5% superfat.
• It is inexpensive to make.
• It produces a creamy lather.
• It cleanses well.
• It produces bubbles and foam.

It allows for your own customisation of fragrance and colour and other additives.

You may adjust the batch size and water amount.

To make it you will be using the following ingredients
Shea Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Distilled Water. 

We also allow for up to 25% of the above oil and butter to be replaced by different oil and/or butter from a long list. 

You then have the option to add anything from the variant options up to a maximum percentage, these include:

• Citric Acid
• Sugar
• Salt 
• Honey
• Sodium Lactate
• Various clays and powders including kaolin, colloidal oats, honey powder, matcha powder, charcoal and more.
• Your choice of fragrance
• Various colours including Mica, colourants, neons, synthetic mica, and natural colourants such as Beetroot Powder, Turmeric, Spirulina, Cocoa, Madder Root and more.
• Water replacement (up to 50% of total water) including Coconut Milk, Goats Milk, Orange juice, Carrot Juice and Aloe Vera Juice.
• Exfoliants (Coffee Grounds and Poppy Seeds)
• Various decoration including bio-glitter, botanicals, coffee beans, dried fruit and melt and pour soap.

Flexible CPSRs provide a frame formulation.  This involves set percentages and some set ingredients to provide the stability and base of the formulation.  The flexibility comes from being able to swap some ingredients for other similar ingredients within certain parameters.  These will allow you to change the performance, texture, scent and colour of the product without compromising it's quality, stability and safety.

Cold process soap making involves a chemical reaction called saponification, where oils and lye combine to create soap. Because of this process, the final ingredients in the finished soap will differ slightly from the raw materials listed in your recipe.

During saponification, glycerin is naturally produced, which becomes part of the finished bar.

The exact composition of your final soap will vary depending on factors such as the mould size, lye-to-water ratio, and any optional ingredients you choose to include.

To make this process as simple and enjoyable as possible for makers, we provide not only the CPSR, but also a detailed information sheet and a complimentary Post-Saponification Calculator to help you understand and calculate your final formulation. More information on this is provided below.

Essential Oils -  This CPSR allows you to use up to 3% Essential oil/s.This assessment includes a choice of 49 essential oils including Vanilla Extract for optional added sweetness.  You may use them individually or as a blend within the given usage limits. Meaning you have unlimited scent options!

• A complimentary Post Saponification Calculator - This will calculate all your ingredients final percentages and the weight in grams for your batch based on your batch size and variant choices including the citric acid/extra lye calculations if you decide to include that. This CPSR - Cosmetic Product Safety Report is for a Conditioner bar. Conditioner bars need careful formulation suited to the results you want.  This formulation gives a solid foundation for a good conditioner bar that can be customised by playing around with the variant options.  

Remember that if you are selling these by promoting what they do for different hair types you will need claims testing. 

To make it you will be using the following ingredients 

BTMS 50, Cetyl Alcohol, Butter of choice (including Mango, Shea, Cocoa etc), Oil of choice (including Argan, Jojoba, Macadamia etc), Colourant of choice, Essential oil of choice or a blend of them, Addititive/s of choice (Including Hydrolyzed proteins, Panthenol, Etc), Preservative of choice (Phenoxyethanol Ethylhexylglycerin or Preservative Eco), Vitamin e.
