Stansfields CLP Labels

If you sell wax melts, candles, diffusers or room sprays, you probably already know that they don't fall under cosmetic regulations, but instead fall under CLP labelling. What you might not know is that shower steamers can be created under either cosmetic labelling or CLP. If you do them the cosmetics way you will need a CPSR, to complete a PIF, submit to the portal and create a cosmetic label. However, if you want to go the CLP route, you can just put a CLP label on and sell. The difference between CLP for the wax and home fragrance products and a shower steamer, is that shower steams have a different percent usage for fragrance and essential oils that isn't covered by the readily available CLP documents you'll find on supplier websites. CLP for a shower steamer needs to be specially calculated for the exact percentage of fragrance that you are using. This has to be done by a qualified individual or company. Thankfully, stansfields do just that. Click the button below to find out more and order yours.
