What to do after you receive your CPSR.
As the responsible person named on your CPSR you will have legal responsibilities relating to the products you put on the market. These will be as follows:
- Create a Product Information File (PIF) for your product/s.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Write compliant Labels.
- Notify your product on the UK Cosmetics Portal (SCPN).
- Keep detailed batch records for your ingredients and finished products.
- Keep up to date with cosmetic regulations and act accordingly - this includes checking ingredients, such as the IFRA amendments and making sure you continue to make products within safe legal usage limits.
