
Cosmetic Regulation Admin Compliance Package UK

Starting a cosmetics business can be overwhelming, especially in the UK, where the administrative requirements are extensive and time-consuming. As the responsible person for your products, you must complete various documents, ensure proper labelling, and UK Cosmetics Portal notification. However, if you’re new to this process, it can be daunting, and you may not feel confident in what needs to be done or how to do it.
This is where my compliance package comes in to help.
While you will remain the Responsible Person (RP) for your products, I can handle the tedious administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on what you do best—creating your products.
With this package, all you need to do is complete a form with the necessary information, provide a couple of documents, and within one week, I will:
- Identify and calculate any allergens in your product (if applicable).
 - Prepare your product label information, ready for incorporation into your brand’s design.** Including full ingredients list in order.
 - Do a courtesy claims check of your product and brand.
 - Draft your Product Information File (PIF) and include a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) statement and batch record sheet, in both Word and PDF format, so that you may edit if necessary.
 - Complete ingredient percentage CSV files for Portal with NPIS notifications where necessary.
 - Report your product/s on the UK Cosmetic Portal.***
 
How It Works
Select Product Type - Cosmetic refers to any cosmetic product other than Cold or Hot Process soap or any product without blends of essential oils. CP/HP Soap and any products containing blends of multiple essential oils are charged slightly higher as there are more calculations to do in order to give the ingredient ranges for the portal.
Upon purchasing this package, you will receive a download link for a form and a Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) at checkout.
Next, simply fill out the form and confidentiality agreement and send them back to me along with:
- Your CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report)
 - Your logo in PNG format.
 - Your stability testing data sheet.
 - Proof of any claims being made for the product.
 - Send a team member invite to your Portal account to the email address in the form provided.
 
I will then handle the preparation of your product label and PIF, and send them to you in PDF and Word format.
Once you receive the label information, you can incorporate it into your design, either yourself or with the help of your designer. Save the final label as a JPG file and send it back to me, along with confirmation that you're satisfied with the work and approve it for upload to the portal.
I will then complete the Cosmetic Portal notification for you and send confirmation by email when this is done.
This package covers one base product with up to 5 variants. If you require additional variants, please feel free to email for a tailored price.
Please note that I do not do compliance packages for white-label products or those purchased abroad.
THIS IS NOT A RESPONSIBLE PERSON SERVICE, THIS IS ADMIN ONLY. This package is created to the best of my knowledge. As the Responsible person of your product, it is up to you to check the information that I provide you is correct before I upload it to the portal. I accept no liability for the finished documents that are based on the information given to me. You and your brand remain the responsible person at all times. It is therefore up to you to monitor changes in regulations and update the documents if necessary.
** If you have a label design in Canva that you'd like me to put the information into, then please send me the Canva link and I can work directly on that.
*** Only the responsible person is permitted access to their .gov portal account. However, your account will allow you to add team members. You will need to 'add me as a team member so that I can sign in to complete the entry on your behalf. You remain the RP, I act as an admin assistant only. This allows me access to your account. You must complete, sign and return the NDA to demonstrate that you agree to this. This is for UK portal entries only. I do not offer EU portal submissions at this time.
In exceptionally busy periods, if wait times are going to be longer than 1 week, you will be emailed and have the option to wait or cancel your order.
For data protection purposes, your files and completed documents will be deleted from our system after you have confirmed receipt. Please ensure you save and back up your files when you receive them, we cannot resend them!
If you make changed to any information given after I have received it and commenced work, there may be an additional admin charge.
UK FREE SHIPPING on everything via standard Royal Mail Tracked 48 (estimated 2-3 working days from dispatch).
You can upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD courier for extra cost if you need your items faster.
Orders received before 12noon GMT will be processed the same day.
Handmade scrunchies may take 1-3 days to process if the stock is not ready made.
Orders received after 12noon GMT will be processed on the next working day.
We accept no responsibility for delays of 7 days or less by Royal Mail or Courier if we shipped your package on time. Though we will always help and support you in tracking the package and rectifying after this time if it is lost or further delayed.
Orders to the rest of the world
Due to regulations, we can only ship physical products to the UK right now, but we will update this page when shipping to other countries is possible.
Digital products that were created and placed on the market prior to 13th December 2024 are available worldwide.  Any digital products created and placed on the market after this date, sadly will not be available to EU and NI customers.  This is due to the GPSR regulations that came into force on the 13th of December.  Should anything change, we will update this page and email our customers.
