Isolate - CPSR add on
This addendum allows the inclusion of Cannabidiol (CBD) within an existing CPSR, subject to a review of the raw material and supporting documentation.
Due to the complex and evolving regulatory requirements surrounding CBD, each raw material must be assessed individually before approval can be confirmed.
CBD additions are currently limited to a maximum of 0.19% in the finished product (due to recent studies) unless additional supporting safety data are supplied and accepted by the assessor.

- INCI Name: Cannabidiol
- CAS Number: 13956-29-1
- Physical Form: White crystalline powder
- Purity: Typically 98% to 99.9% pure CBD
- THC Level: 0.0% (Non-detectable)
What You Must Provide
To request a CBD addendum, please supply:
• Product specification or technical data sheet (TDS) for the CBD raw material
• Current Certificate of Analysis (COA) showing CBD content and THC levels
• Confirmation of the CBD source and extraction method
• Supplier details and manufacturer information
• The percentage of CBD to be used within the finished cosmetic product
• Any additional toxicological or safety information supplied by the manufacturer
Important Information
Approval of a CBD addendum is not automatic and is dependent upon the documentation supplied. We reserve the right to decline materials where sufficient safety, regulatory, or compositional information is not available.
Synthetic CBD and highly purified CBD isolates with appropriate supporting documentation are generally preferred. Materials containing significant levels of THC, poorly defined cannabis extracts, or insufficient supporting documentation may not be suitable for inclusion within a cosmetic safety assessment.
The addendum is intended for CBD isolate only. Customers should contact you before purchasing if they intend to use full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, flower-derived extracts, or any cannabis extract containing measurable cannabinoids other than CBD.
If additional information is required during the review process, we will contact you before the assessment is completed.
We aim to return your completed CPSR update within 24/48 hours (weekends excluded), but please allow 1 week.
Note: We can only add to an existing Revega assessment. CPSRs purchased elsewhere cannot be modified or added to.

We accept no responsibility for delays of 7 days or less by Royal Mail or Courier if we shipped your package on time. Though we will always help and support you in tracking the package and rectifying after this time if it is lost or further delayed.

Due to regulations, we can only ship physical products to the UK right now, but we will update this page when shipping to other countries is possible.
Digital products that were created and placed on the market prior to 13th December 2024 are available worldwide. Any digital products created and placed on the market after this date, sadly will not be available to EU and NI customers. This is due to the GPSR regulations that came into force on the 13th of December. Should anything change, we will update this page and email our customers.
